Does Mitt Romney actually want to win the 2012 Presidential Election?
Mitt Romneys only real chance to win the 2012 election is to select Ron Paul as his running mate.

Somehow, someway, Mr. Mitt Romney has pulled ahead of all his Republican wannabe nominees.
Of course he has many things going for him:
He has gobs of money, he is so bland that he can take on the color and flavor of just about anything a prospective voter might want to put upon him to justify their own vote for him.
And then, he certainly has the look.
Of all the candidates, there is no question that Romney simply looks more presidential than any of the others. And within his bland personality, his inoffensive, essentially non-confrontational way of talking without really saying anything, again serves him up as unflavored tofu, something that can functionally take on anything a voter needs to project upon him at that moment. A kind of political schmoo.
Many a presidential election has been won by simply being inoffensive, vague, non-commital, and yet very committed to these principles.
In fact the most successful strategy, in winning terms only, seems to be to appear impassioned, concerned and committed, to make grand proclamations of “reform”, “restoring promise”, “a brighter tomorrow”, and of course “hope” and “change”, delivered with charisma, and conviction.
Delivered properly, all these phrases at first blush sound grand, inspiring and epic, but actually describe almost nothing at all, and yet everything, at the very same time. In fact that is what they do, because they are like a bunch of adjectives and adverbs, without any subjects or actions included. You could plug in anything you initially believe is wrong, and anything you think would make things better, and the candidate would make perfect sense to you, you find it amazing how much you agree with him. (In formal logic, these would be called functions, not actual axioms.)
