BO was the perfect embodiment of everything the Democrats have tried to impose on the country for the past 40 years. If they don't stick with him it will be an admission of defeat so resounding that they may never recover. That said, I wouldn't put it past them to conjure a scenario where he can't run due to "circumstances beyond his control," and has to "step honorably aside" . . . or isn't in a position to carry on at all.
